First we listen to the play and learn the sentences and the words. Then we are able to read by knowing much of the play and also by lessons in the different French sounds (ou, an, on, etc). Then we organize the story in our head or on posters or in books with drawings. Then we become able to tell the story without reading and present the play. All very exciting!!!
